6062 and a hyperchip
Just thought I would post this. Got a 6062 ECM from an 85 auto(thats what it said on the ECM) with a hyper chip for that year ecm. Insatalled today in my 82.. Fit very well and was a lot thinner than the original fat boy.
i do believe that it runs better. it buried the speedo needle quicker than usual. I guess i will have to take it to Bandimere(Denver) when they open up and see if it improves its ET and MPH. Hopefully it does. The only thing these ecms dont have is the fresh air flap operation, but I removed my flap so it would get fresh air all the time so i don't need it. lock up works fine and so far so good. Ill report after a run down the 1/4 mile.
Hey everybody, 6062 is incorrect. It should be 6026. that is what came in the 83-84 f-bodies and vettes. Sorry for the mix up.
