Default My "new" seats!!

These arrived a week or so ago!!! After restoring the entire interior to original dark saddle, I think with my Orange/Black paint job...black interior is the way to go!!!

New C5 seats!!! Now to fabricate the mounts.

They look like new.

Buy some Zaino Z9 and Z10 for them. They're only ~$10 a bottle, enough for a few years worth of cleaning/conditioning, and leave the seats smelling like new leather!!

Nice looking seats. Are you going to sell the dark saddle interior? I am doing a 72 and need a few parts.

Hi MS,
They look way too comfortable! You're going to need to be careful you don't doze off! I guess the 'loud pedal' shold keep you alert!
NICE!!

Alan

You're going to like those seats. Have the same ones and color in the 68. Power drivers and manual passenger and contrary to what has been said the power drivers side sits lower than the manual passenger side. Re-fabbed the existing C5 mounts to fit the 68's floor pan spacing.

63 mako got C5 seats too. Disassembled, all new foam, new custom leather covers. My interior is two tone but these would look good in yours.

Or, you can just re-dye the new seats to the same color as the rest of your interior. Since the seats are out of the car, it would be simple.

They look great

I'd like to do this on a 71 and am curious as to how you will fabriate the mounts to fit the existing floor pans.

Me too!!! There's oodles of threads about it...I plan to use the C3 stock tracks and attach the seats to them... Both seats are manual, so should be fairly straightforward... I'll take pictures...
