Default Should I just do This ?

my '76 L-48 runs strong for what it is ...4sp/3:36 & has only 48k on the motor ...I have a 327 short block ready to go basicly wo/cam..its an old roundy rounder I still have ( crank has been cut .120M/.090Rods ) scary huh ?.
Should I just put heads (AFR's ? ),roller cam valvetrain & intake ,headers on the 350 ?? that way I can leave the stock motor in there for now and build up a better block later ? the l-48 has 8.5 compression what would it be with 64cc heads and would it make 350hp ??

What the heck, I'll start. AFR makes a bunch of heads... which ones are you wanting to use? Ditto all the other components in the proposed build... each choice will make the end result differ.

Stroke the 327 if it is a large journal crank

I went with Brodix IK180 64cc chambers (on the original rebuilt 350). The approximate new comp ratio is 9.5. If you put in a big duration cam, the dynamic comp ratio will go down though. Then an aluminum intake, headers, cam n other few parts for a decent upgrade.

nope..SJ

The heads I want will be AFR 195 or 220's
Mild Solid Roller cam

I want to just pull topend off , while motor is still in the car .
Then later buy a 421/,434 Shortblock ( http://www.competitionproducts.com/C...uctinfo/434FT/) after is sell some stuff off over the next year , the heads are not ideal for the 350 I realize that , but they have to be used on whatever I build next .

Don't be putting on AFR 220's on a stock block L48....she'll really be a dog on the bottom end.
With what you are planning to do, I'd slap on some cheap vortecs, that will bring compression up to about 9.5/1 if you use a steel shim head gasket, Ebay yourself a performer RPM intake manifold, carb and headers of your choice, and your in business. This will wake up that 350 and allow you to enjoy the car while building the engine you really want.
You should be able to buy this stuff used for under $700 and resell it all when your done.
