So, my car used to have a starter that sounded like it was on its way out. I replaced it with a high-torque mini from Summit and although it sounds good while starting, it makes a bit of a grumble/squeal (depends on its mood) after the motor has started. (starter trying to disengage)
Any ideas?
I've already shimmed it up to 9/64".
*edit*
Turns out it was a problem with my remote start solenoid. Apparently, the solenoid was keeping the starter hot too long. I tried a 'known good starter' and it turned out it was my setup the entire time. :'(
