I have a TH350 Trans. Off the line is great,
Shift to second is good :yesnod:
Shift to third is :U . Lose around 2500 rpm.
I do not think that there is a shift kit. I do have a 2400 stall tq.
Without changing transmission (which I would like to go to a 6-Speed :yesnod: ) What can I do? WHat do I look for?
Thanks
And it just been freaking GREAT that I have got to drive this vette all week without a problem. Forgot how great it is!

If you don't have a t350c then you can install a shift kit for 25 bucks
you will know if it is a t350c by looking around the pan if you see a elec connection with 4 connections then it is a t350(c) which is some what electrictly controled. and b&m does not make a shift kit for it
( I don't know about trans pac)
I hope this helps.

I have the th350 also, yes there is quite a bit of drop going into third.

Are you concerned with the low drop off from a higher gear, if that's the case then there nothing you can other than swapping out the tranny.

If your problem is it's not shifting fast enough or grabbing hard enough then a shift kit would help.

Actualy now that I think of it that seems strange
Most people prefer the gear ratio of a t350 to a t400 although it lacks the strength.
May be there is somthing wrong. I know you don't want to here that.

The drop off is the concern. The 'Stang got me by a car length because of the drop off. The transmission works really well. Just loses those rpms when running really hard. I really felt like I need another gear.
I guess I will have to start planning on a transmission change.

If it feels soft and you want to firm it up then transgo kit is the way to go they have kits that alter line pressure. I believe yours is just a straight up 350 not the 350c they didnt come out till afew years later. :smash:
