Default carb problems

idle is going crazy. Im going crazy. My air/fuel mixture screws seem to do nothing...
This after noon when I turned it off it had some run on. I am stumped. How much does lars charge? I'd rather not send it off(I want to learn), but all I want to do now is DRIVE. How does that lonar carb program work? I plan to give mine up to the cause once I can afford a new one(and get the other must do's out of the way) :D

Default Re: carb problems (daniel77350)

Daniel -
I charge $100 plus return shipping (about $14) to go through a Q-Jet. If you drop me an e-mail I can send you a whole info sheet on the process.

The loaner program is quite simple - let me know what type/year carb you need, and if we have one, I send it out to you to use as you please. I only ask that you send me a check for whatever postage you see on the box so I don't go broke financing the post office (Q-Jet shipping runs about $14). When you're done with it, send it back to me so somebody else can use it. In other words, use of the loaner will end up costing you about $30 in postage (that's shipping via USPS Priority Mail - you can save a few bucks going standard mail).

Contact me if you need more info.
