Default to get the wheels off

to get the wheels off the ground, what would it take? for all intents and purposes, we'll saya STOCK 79 (or and "C3")
how much HP/torque are we talkin?
would street tires ever have enough grip? if pure street tires wouldnt, then what would?
Ive been thinking about this for quite a while, and i think its time to know what ya'll have done. not to mention i just got "finished" installing this into my '79. it still overheats, so im throwin a dewitts rad at it..
incase anyone asks.. ATK should be kicked at least once (though i know im to blame too, so we'll leave it there for now) and how do you sell a complete pulley system with all the accessories, and not send a friggin drive belt (MARCH!!)?!?!?!?!?
