MILLING CALIPERS
Hey ScubaJKD,
Did you ever find out if you could mill down the C3 calipers to fit the Vintage Wheels? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=206323
Does anyone know if I can mill down the C3 calipers to fit the Vintage Works 45 series rim? I really don't want to go with a spacer 5/16. Don't the lugs loosen over time due to the spacers compressing?????? :confused:

RED, how are you? I am still looking for the parts for this car. This is harder than I thought. I am going with HEI and a 5" Super Comp tach. SO my distributor will be available soon if you are still interested!
BACK TO THE SPACER THING.. I read wheel spacers compress over time from tightening the lugs. It was from one of Richard Newtown's books "How to restore and modify your Corvette" He stated most companies don't even make them anymore. IS this true? You race, you probably know better!!!!
