I put A shift kit in to a 301 pontiac trans am and true duals readjusted the carb and had the rear kickin out so this is no big deal. But it sure feels good   :seeya

With 400+ ft.lbs. of torque I can 'chirp' the tires & beyond in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd,..... but I'm not gonna try until I replace my U-joints ! :(

I'm also thinkin' that you have more than 100ft.#'s of torq. (maybe closer to 200+ ?) ...on the street, it's torque & not HP that gets the tires to 'chirp'...
Yep, at about 4,000rpm should be your peak torque on the curve.
Oh, are you shifting 'manually' 1-2-3 (kinds like an auto-clutch tranny ?)

Well with drag radials on asphalt I can't chirp the tires even with 500 ft/lbs...It just snaps your neck

Some times I do shift it. Sometimes I don't. 8/10 times I am.
