Default Different steering wheels?

So I was looking for a new black steering wheel, and can easily get one of those from ebay or Mid America etc for 80-100 bucks (I have a perfect tan/chrome spokes one right now that I'll sell or trade) but while they are a nice replacement they're kinda boring. What do you guys have, where did you get them, and how much? Pics? I really want to retain the stock horn button too ('81 with tilt/tele).
Thanks-in-advance

You could just get some interior dye and dye the tan wheel black. I changed a blue wheel to black a couple of years ago and so far it's been fine. There is a guy named Chuck Pelton who re-covers steering wheels also. You can probably find his contact info with a search. From the pics I've seen he does excellent quality work.

Yeah you know I thought about that, but figured I'd see what other cool different things people were using before I did anything. I will certainly look up this Chuck fellow, thanks for the tip
So who's got something different?

How about one of these?????

Pretty unique. Not something you'd normally see in a Corvette!

Grant make s some st. wh. w/ leather 791 or wood 794 that are a direct bolt on.
I put the Grant black leather one on my Corvette a long time ago. It has polished slotted spokes & a very shallow dish which moves it closer to the dash. Ideal, esp. if one is tall.

Here is my Momo. I love the steering wheel. I only wish it was a little fatter and tan leather. Maybe I'll look into recovering. The tilt telescopic adapter I got from Momo. But that was over 20 years ago.

Hey BeeJay could you retain the stock vette horn button if you had wanted to? I like that wheel, had one in my 914 and loved it.
I have an aftermarket tan one with chrome spokes and it's very nice but not black lol.

I have the same steering wheel in my 914, but it's red airleather. My other red car came with a Momo too. No, I think you have to use Momo's horn button.

Geez and you have a 914 too? Nice - what year, motor, etc. Mine was a 73, GT body, 911 suspension and 2056, and leaky webers lol. Sounded great all wound up, and scared a friend or two on x-way onramps. Sold it to finish the vette and buy a ring for my now-wife.
Keeping this vette related - I might just sell mine and get one of those aftermarket ones, just can't decide on brushed or polished spokes.

I just heard back from Chuck. He only recovers stock Corvette steering wheels. Any other suggestions?

Here is mine. '72 2.0 liter, but I am building a 3.0 six for it. You can see the red Momo in the picture.
I just checked the Momo and Grant web sites. Neither have tan leather steering wheels. Tan leather is one of the most popular interior colors. Does anyone make a tan leather steering wheel?

Are those steel flares? I can't make up my mind about the flares. Maybe after I get the 3.0 running, I'll need much wider rubber. That steering wheel looks nice. What's wrong with it. Why are you discarding? Tan is one of the most popular interior colors. I don't know why no one makes an aftermarket tan steering wheel. I wonder how much the Saleen wheel is?

Bah, the flares are fiberglass, as I'm a crappy welder. They went in great and my bodywork was really good too but they needed to be redone because some of it shrunk in a couple spots. Mostly noticeable to me though lol.
I'm selling the wheel because I changed the interior from tan to black. These wheels are pretty standard, they come in different colors including the tan. I bet that Saleen wheel is a fortune - here's where I got mine:
