sigh is the switch just junk?
Mine did something similar. It also ran my battery dry. It ended up being a bad ground wire. Don't know if that is what it is, but it's a start.
Im pretty sure i put the connector on right, there a little extra plastic on one side, there a flat spot on theplate to guide it (sorta)
Anyway, the wiper motor and washer motor are both brand new. (dont even talk to me about the washer bottle and pump, total bubba there but back to original setup now)
I did notice the catalogs list a repo and a delco tooling repo (twice the price too)
So did you flip the connector at the wiper switch and correct the problem....I think the price differance is because one is an OEM/Delco tooling as described from the vendor.....

im pretty sure its on right, anyone have a picture or can desribe which color wires are on what side??
I would drop the plate/5 screws and check that connector...dark blue-black/white-light blue wires....from left to right according to the wiring diagram and to be sure....
yeah i cant remember exactly if i had it backwards but maybe. i got the better switch, it works. (even got the radio working tonight, im quiting while im ahead)
