New Carpet NOT Fitting???

Same thing happened to me on my wife's 70 roadster. It was 2 years after the point of purchase and I had to shell out $85 to the upholsterer who felt sorry for me, Wilcox Corvette did not. My only complaint with Wilcox is the treatment I recieved on this problem. Many others have since posted simular problems.
I think Auto Custom Carpets must be employing non-english speaking workers who cannot figure out the correct way to perform their work.
The carpet kit I did in a 74 Vette a while later had fittment problems too. This SH*T! isn't very funny! for the $$ a carpet kit runs.

They treated me well but ACC dragged their feet and for the money shelled out I felt things should have gone much faster.
If I new it would be like this I would have spent the $10 more and used a different vender.
I cut the compartment hole myself and this made it much easier to fit the carpet flat against the sides and back wall. They should sell the carpet this way!!! IMO and knock off a few bucks because it takes less time for them to produce. It looks great
except for the hooked strip in the rear
