Hi, I just dropped in my new crate engine and put on my new fuel pump. My problem is that I cannot remember if there were rubber lines going from the end of the 2 steel lines to the bottom fittings on my pump.
I removed the old motor 4 years ago and can't remember what connected the lines to the bottom of the pump. I am guessing that it was rubber lines because there seems to be some kind of hose barb fitting on the 2 bottom fuel pump nipples. Thanks in advance.

There are no rubber lines on the pressure side of the pump. The line from the pump outlet to the carb is steel with no rubber sections. The suction side of the pump uses a short rubber section from the steel line on the frame to the inlet of the pump. If the pump had a return line on it, there would also be a short rubber line running from the pump's return port to the return line on the frame.
Grumpy427 & lars,
Thank you both very much. I have the steel line for the carb, I just could not remember about the other 2 lines. Thanks again. have a great day.
