I know I shouldn't post it here but Family and friends get top priority. In tonights Paper there is a 1963 Split window coupe 327 4 speed for $19,500 Canadian that = $12100. US Also a 81 350 4speed $10900. = $6760. US What's happening ?
Paso,
You knew I could not pass this one by without comment ;) . The 1981 is within market range, whatever dollar you use. Sounds like a car in need of interior, mechanical and paint work. A beater. Same for the 1963. Probably an old drag car that needs $20,000CDN to get back to respectability. Just my own cynical comment as usual. Most sellers these days are pretty sophisticated and do their internet homework very well. The true bargains are scarce. Please do not tell me they were found in a barn covered with pigeon droppings....That story is becoming tiring.
Paul Paul this is Saskatchewan :) The whole Province is Barns Okay you talked me into it I phoned the guy. He say's powertrain intact, new windshield Has been restoring it since 99 Brand new interior (Not installed) He Just got off the phone from a guy that's been drilling him for the last 1/2 hour and is driving out 6:am Tommorrow morning. It's in Nipawin Sask. Barn Capital of Canada He says it's been stored properly. First day in Paper :) Why are you selling it One to many projects and this has been costly Corvette Parts you know. No kidding :) we'll see if it's in the paper tomorrow
The 63 split window went the First day  Was going to drive out there just see what kind of shape it was really in, and compare it to the sellers comments. Sold Must have been all true. Good thing I didn't get up early and drive as if it was that good I would not of wanted to walk away from it. AS it is one of my favorites. I would have much more enjoyed going out there to look at it for someone else :)
Hey Stop posting the good deals, Dam all of the good vettes have been bought-up by the Americans. How can we compete our dollar is 1/2 of what the American dollar is. When I am ready to sell the monster I will be advertising in the U.S. " Good Old U.S. $$$
