C4 Wheels

Re: C4 Wheels (jersey68l36)
I have 16 by 9.5 inch wheels on all four corners of my 74. They came off a 86 vette. I needed spacers front and rear which I purchased from vette brakes. I also had to relocate my emergency brake cable from the side of my rear trailing arm to the topon both sides. Over 100 1/4 mile passes and some hard canyon carving and never had a problem. Handling is much improved over a 15 inch tire and they look great too. Actually, I think they look better on the c-3's than on the c-4's.

I mounted 17x9.5 '92 vette wheels on all 4 corners....with 2.5 inch vette brakes wheel adaqptors....works like a charm...
may need to limit the steering in front, move e brake mounting tab to behind rotor in rear...but then can use 255/50/17 up front and 275/50/17 in rear...
the 50 series tire looks much better than the shorter 40 series tire...
in a C3 wheel well...

Re: C4 Wheels (VETDRMS)
VETDRMS,
Check out the engine mods forum under "406 dyno results" and "Demon carb tips". Since this is a newly built engine, I don't have any 1/4 mile times yet. The track here doesn't open until mid April.
