LS-1 => C3 installation article?
I have pdf files of parts 1 & 2 of Vette Magazine's installation of an LS-1 crate motor in a 76. [Oct '00 and April '01] Does anyone have the part where they actually install it? Any other experience on installing one? :smash:
Just dreaming for now, but maybe next winter's project. Joe

70LS-1 has his in the car and there is a guy on the C-2 board that has one in a 50's model. That should be a pretty hot car when some one finishes one.

Rich Lagasse has an LS-6 (the Z06 LS-6), in a 62. The car is complete and running.

GM performance parts sell a book on how to install a LS-1 engine in older cars. they supply the book with LS-1 crate engines. :chevy

I just got back from sea yesterday. I should get a chance to work on it this coming week. When I do, I will give you all an update. It sure makes it hard to complete a project when you are having to go to sea all the time. Maybe someday she will run again.
Dan, you are more than welcome to come by some time and check it out. Give me a call.
