Ball Joint torque spec
Fellas,
I'm re-installing my Vette Brakes lower ball joint on my 1974 Corvette, and I do not know the torque specification for the large nut on top of the star washer and under the grease fitting in the lower ball joint. I got the Vette Brakes torque specification page in a pdf file, but I interpret the specifications as relating strictly to the 1/2" bolts on the sides of the control arm.
Is there a torque spec for the large nut on the top of the lower ball joint?
Please advise.

FYI - Vette Brakes tech support said about the same thing.
This item is not really clear in service manuals but sense it
is a hollow stud i wouldn't tighten it over 35-45 ft.lb.
