Take your time, use good materials and it will turn out great.

Here's the same tub after a little clean-up.

Good luck
Man, that's great work. I'm going to have to save that pic as a reference. Anybody else have any pics of the painted underside of their Vette? I hope to finish cleaning the chassis next week and ready for paint.

Finally found the cord. It really looks better in person. Here are some of the pics:
I still have to remove some other things to be able to get more of the chassis cleaned up, but here's what I've done so far. I'll continue next week.

I didn't want to take off the wheel, so I just took a quick pick of the rear.

Here's one while I was removing the control arms.

Just a pic of one of the lower control arms cleaned up. I still have to remove the bushings and ball joint.

I had to figure out what these wire where for. These are some of them. Before.

Here's one of the wiring harness. I had to figure this puzzle out. After.

These wires where for the AC and the T.C.S

I still have a lot more to do. I want to get as much done as possible next week. I'm going to do the engine compartment once it's at my friends shop. I still have to remove the rest of the front suspension and steering system. I also have to go buy more paint for the cast iron parts and other things.

The gray is a Dupont single stage urethane, black is POR-15 and the cast parts are Metal Mask.

Here's a few more shots:

Thanks Guys

My buddies thought I was crazy for painting the bottom of my car, but I think it was worth the effort.

It sure wasn't painted. Most of it is dark grey fiberglass.
