Default Block Question?

I have had my 496 in the car for about a month now and it has a small antifreeze leak! it is coming from the strangest location above the starter on the passenger side.. i have a hoist in my garage so i picked the car up dried off the affected area with a paper towel. (mind you this is a very small leak) it leaves about a dime size drop on the garage floor. i looked every where and its all dry above the leak.. but where the starter meets the block in the two mounting hole locations it appears to be moist. my question is does the inward bolt on the block need to have some sealant put on it. Is this a passage way to the water jacket. i had had all sorts of leaks over the years but this is by far the strangest to me.. get this im a plumber/pipe fitter and im having trouble with a leak!!! Any input would be appreciated

Your Pal..... Neptune

Check the freeze plug right behind the starter. Might be coming from there. Also check your heater hoses, they might be slightly leaking and dripping on the starter nose.
