Rochester linkage questoin
Hey folks - if I source a carb from a '69 car to use on my 74' car, will there be an issue with linkage between the two? In other words, was there a change in Corvette linkage between the 69' Rochester and 74' Rochester???

You may wish to keep in mind that the 1974 throttle cable is unique and there is no adjustment on it. That is not an issue with throttle linkage but it may come into play with mounting brackets. Just a thought.

Will an earlier throttle cable fit on the 74??? I notice that I cannot get full throttle opening and am trying to figure out a solution in light of no adjustment capability.

See the section in my Q-Jet paper about inadequate throttle cable travel. There are 5 things that can cause inadequate travel, and all 5 can be fixed.
