Just ordered a rebuilt RR wheel bearing assy as Vaal started making very noticable canarylike noises on the drive in to work this morning. Everything I'd read on the forum led me to believe that they were good folks to deal with and I was not dissillusioned by the call. I've got 76,000 miles on the clock and I wonder if I should bite the bullit and redo the other side as soon as I can afford it or wait for it to start complaining? Bair's price is reasonable but I hate to spend money I don't have to.
I don;t know how long you've had your car, but these things tend to go in pairs. Perhaps the other one has already been replaced? I did both sides of my 73 with Bairs' rebuilt T/A's, and couldn't be happier. The car rides like new. Joe
They are great people at Bairs. I had my tarms done there. I went to the NCRS show in Orlando and seen them there and they new me by name.
I wanted a ss brake cable and Brain gave me a great price on it and when I
went to pay I was a little short. I told him that give him a call and order it. He
then tossed me the cable and told me to send him a check. That blew me away.
I have ordered from them several times since then and it has always been a good experence.
You will not go wrong with Bair's.
I have used them and nearly all the others in the course of rebirthing my '74 and Bair's has been among the best folks to trust with my parts and money. They even went so far as to call me off and on during the course of thier rebuilding my differential to let me know what they were finding.
A1 Rating from me...
I have dealt with Brian for a couple of years now and he's a good guy. I try to stop in at Carlisle to say hi and pick up things I need. When I order I have my stuff in 2 days no problem. If I wasn't thick headed they would be the place I'd send my T arms and differential to, but I just have to do it myself

Bair's is the greatest........
Had them rebuild both of my trailing arms and was so impressed with the work that I sent them my rear end and half shafts..Sweet is the word..
