Default 69 L88 Question

I was digging through my basement looking for parts for a different car when I came across a carburetor and manifold that I believe along to an original 1969 L 88 with a TH400. Can someone help me identify these two items. Does anyone have numbers for the carburetor and manifold.

A genuine Holley for an L88 would have one of two numbers on it...3925519 or 3955205.

The intake should have the number 3933198 for an L88. If it has the number 3919851 it's for a '67 L88.

According to a good number of sellers on feeBay, it would appear pretty much any C2/3 part (or car) can be claimed as being an L88 item.

Thats a easy one. All real L88 intakes regardless of the year has a open plenum intake. If its not completely open, then its not a L88 intake.....

The manifold is a match, the carb I found belongs to a 1970 Z28. I am still digging in the pile for the other carb.

I will post a picture tomorrow of the plenum to verify.

No it does not belong to a car I own. The original owner took it off and put a Edelbrock manifold with a dominator. As to the question of the open Plenum, please look at my picture and see if that looks right.

No, The 88 intakes are completely open. Just one huge square hole from the top to the bottom of the intake.....

Thanks for the reply, but now I am really confused. I did some Google searching and found:

http://www.wernersparts.com/Intake%20Manifolds.htm

Intake Manifold, Aluminum Casting #3933198
Date 10-30-69 - 427/430 - Cleaned, no cracks,
no welds, never milled. Correct cut on plenum
No oil shield. 1968 Corvette L88, 1969 Corvette
L88, ZL1, and 1969 Camaro ZL1 WC 84 1968-69 1,800.00

That looks to be identical to mine. Do you have a picture of what you are referring to with the huge square hole?

Thanks for the reply, but what I was trying to verify was whether my manifold PN #3933198 is correct. Ironcross suggests its not, but all the #3933198 on Ebay and Werners look like mine. The Picture Roger pointed to was PN #3885069 for a 67.
