well engine wiring harness is simple and so is the forward lamp harness or at least I thought they were on my SB 1972 coupe. I have not done the under dash harness as mine is in pretty good shape. I would say that I got the replacement harnesses from Lectric Limited and they were right on perfect in every aspect. I also got the color wiring diagrams from DocRebuild and they helped greatly too. Hope this helps you.
I replaced the headlight and engine harnesses on my 71 the headlights harness is pretty easy and the engine harness was not bad either.
When I came to something that had alot of wires plugged into it I cut the old wire off instead of unpluggingleaving about 2 inches of wire so when you came back to hook it back up you had the old wire to help match up the colors.
Hi V68,
The engine harness is quite easy to install because it's the simplest and the access is very good.
The front lighting harness would be next because it's fairly simple and the access is fair.
The rear lighting harness would be next because although the harness is quite simple some of the interior needs to come out to get the harness in place.
The dash harness is by far the most complex and the entire dash needs to come out to install it. Not for the faint of heart.
NO short cuts because if the harnesses are not well done the car catches on fire.
Regards,
Alan
