You know it's screwed up.
So yank all that garbage out of there, throw it in a trash can, get some good quality parts and put the engine back into configuration and set it up right.
I don't see that there's anything else to discuss - am I missing something?
Now if it is broken I rather have a cap send over then a whole dizzy. I don't have the luxury of a big budget any more. Also Shipping to the Netherlands has become more expansive.
So the question remains, is the cap model and brand dependent?
From what I can tell from your picture, it looks to be a GM cap, you would be wise to order a coil and rotor as well,then you are starting with fresh parts that will work together with no issues.
