Has anyone on here ever used a 6.0/366 truck engine in a C3. I'm concidering this as an option and would like to know if anyone else has any info, pros/cons. This is a fuel injected engine with aluminum heads, I was going to change to a carburated set up.

The major con (vs an all aluminum LSX) will be the weight. I'd run EFI if I was gonna go through all the effort of swapping one of those things in.

Otherwise, you should be able to fit it the same as the other LS1 swaps.

6.0 02 LQ9. LS1s are getting rare, expensive and generally high milage.
Truck motors are half the price. They weigh about 60lbs more than the LS, about the same as a SBC.
You need to change the oil pan, intake and front accessory drive, depending on you're running to fit the vette. I used intake, oil pan, and exhaust from an 02 corvette.
Keep the injection if it's a driver. The carb intake, exhaust, and headers are great for high rpm hp.
