Default Door panel screws ! Argh !

1980 vette.
When purchased 4 years ago, the interior was redone and in top shape. (new door panels)
The bottom halfs seem to get lose all the time and I always have to tighten the screws.
Near the feet area, bottom corner near door hinges, it seems to require screws for the panel to be tight snug against the door....

Am I missing something here ?
Because of the slaming/closing the doors, everything losens after a while !
Is here any diagrams that can show me where there should be screws.
The panels came off and I don't see anything !

The drilled hole in the door frame is probably larger than from the factory from years of removal/reinstallation. The best 'fix' is to put a wad of JB Weld [stick] epoxy putty behind the hole (with a little on the outside to keep it in place) then drill a smaller hole for the screw. The simplest fix is to install the next size larger screw.

I put in the door frame a rivet nut (1/4"???) used a aelen head screw with big washer and cover it up with plastic that I found at home depot.
Its hold the panel very good and not tier the panel skin.

Or you can do it the Bubba way, like it was done to my car, just put a few self tapering screws wherever you feel like!

Damn you bubba!

Fixed my toilet with the WaterWeld version, damn good stuff cures and hardens in oil, gas, water, oh yeah fixed a brake line leak with it too that lasted until I replaced all the lines, probably more than 2 years
