Parking brake cable bracket

Quick question: Is the bracket in the right location or should it be moved one hole to the right? (see arrow). It feels like the cable is 2" too long and needs to go in a big twist...

Lesson to self: Next time take 10 times as many pictures before you start to take everything apart...

The bracket is mounted right, the hole at the red arrow is for a brake line clip.

I don't have a pic of the bracket installed but this pic has the 2 bolts screwed into the holes where the bracket goes. The other higher hole is for a brake line clip.
