Brake Warning Lite On
This afternoon I stopped for gas and set the e-brake because there was another car just in front of me. After driving about a block I noticed my brake warning lite on and figured I forgot to release the e-brake but it was released all the way. The car is a '77 and I know of only 2 switches to activate the warning lit, the e-brake switch and the frame mounted pressure differential switch. When it happened I reset the e- brake 3 or 4 times then pulled over and checked for leaks. The calipers, wheels, and lines all looked dry so I popped the top off the reservoir and both front and rear section were level and full. Anyone else have this problem ???
P.S. The brakes feel normal and work normally.

Reason: additon
One of your calipers probably sucked a little air in , probably a rear one. Thats just a guess.
Had you just gotten of the interstate or did a high speed run ?
doesn't sound like a leak but you probably should remove the calipers to be sure. you mention you've reset e-brake 3-4 times... How are you doing that? Stepping on the brake pedal hard to make it go off and then is it coming back on??? if yes, could it be a switch issue?
Setting the e-brake would have no impact on the P-valve in the engine compartment. And, the last action you had was to engage the e-brake. Soooo...I'm suspecting that the switch on the e-brake actuating arm is stuck or broken. Just a guess, mind you.....
Brake Warning Light Switch, at the emergency brake handle would be the first place to look. Spring release mechanism on the switch may have jammed or broken, on the last emergency brake lever actuation.
