I started a thread a while back listed as SRIII project. I posted some pics there. Work has been very busy so haven't been able to do as much as I would like. Did get a chance to prime and spray sound deadener on the underside today. Hopefully can spray finish coat tomorrow so I can do the final setting of the body on the chassis and bolt it on for good next weekend.

I used Lizard Skin. Sprayed very nicely. Hopefully will help along with the Dyna Mat on the inside, my wife will be able to handle riding with me.

Yes I did. I will probably use it many times in the future, so not a problem.

It looks like you are using a long L88 hood. What brand is it and do you like to fit and finish?

I got it from Jeff Leech at Mid America industries and I do like the way it fits and looks. It still requires some work to finish it

Its been a while but I got a few good days in and fixed some cracks around the front edge, took the paint off and smoothed the T-Tops and doors, just about got the door gaps correct, basically waiting for my roll bar and brackets to arrive then tack the roll bar and supports and pull the body. As much as I would like to add a full roll cage it probably will not work because of the location of the hoop and my head. Thanks

still waiting on my roll bar should be here tomorrow. I did get a fiberglass front bumper from Mid America Ind looks great. Not sure what if I will stay with that or go with the chrome. He also makes rear fiberglass bumpers as well. I have my dolly ready and the firewall pretty much done so here are some not so exciting pics

I just received my FIA lens cover and brackets from Jim at Classic aircraft auto and the quality and craftsmanship is first rate. I highly recommend his FIA headlight kit and will say Jim is a great guy, he takes the time to help one out. I will post pics after Christmas

Christmas was good and here are a few pics of the roll bar setup. I plan to triangulate a few more bars.

Fuel cell in but needs a few more brackets below and the roll bar needs some cross braces as well.
