Looks like xmas came early!

And you're definitely going to need that washing machine to clean out your shorts every time you mash that GO pedal.

Body is back on the chassis. The 7qt oil pan sat too low, so we swapped it out for a Moroso 6 qt, and only had to drop the steroids rack and pinion by 3/4". Fuel lines are plumbed. Alternator is installed. Kind of a pain to find a mid mount that would fit. Not too much left before we can fire the engine. Most time consuming will be modifying the drive side header similar to what we did for the passenger.

Outstanding!
This thing should be capable of low 9's-high 8's you reckon?

No clue. It has a tight converter and a 3.50 rear gear to tame it down on the street, so it’s not going to be a 1/4 mile beast. But it’ll be a riot around town.

Got some more work done. Finished the driver's side header and made some side pipes. Couldn't find anything that would reduce the noise level and not hinder performance. Largest side pipes we could find were 3.5" and we needed a true 4" so the engine wouldn't get choked out. So......we welded two resonators together and then filled the gap between them. Turned out pretty good in my opinion. They'll be ceramic coated along with the headers.
