Side pipes with Headers

Side pipes with Headers
Was just wondering, for those of you that have the factory 69 style sidepipes. What type of headers or exhaust manifolds are you using. Also what type of exhaust mufflers or chambers are you using. I am very close to going with side pipes and I am not sure about what to use under the covers and from the heads out. Pics of your exhaust would be great as well. How are your side pipes attached? So many questions, I am finding this would be a large expense as well!

These scream performance but they are not the most cost effective alternative.

I have a 1969 L46 with factory sidepipes. Exhaust replaced with after market aluminum reproduction. I have posted previously on a thread I started titled "Numbers game".
Long story short: Engine pulled, crack on one head and sunken exhaust valve in the other. Installing aluminum heads, low rise intake, new cam, Holley Carb and headers to work with my existing factory reproduction exhaust system. Will let you know if I'm happy or not with the headers once the work is completed.
