Default Electric Fuel Pump
I am just staring to put a TPI system on my 80. I think I have all the parts together, but have a fuel pump question. From reading other threads I see the 85 pump recommended a few times so I bought one of those. My question deals with wiring. the way it looks to me the connection- pump plug- is in the tank...actually in the fuel. Is that right?

Buy a 1982 Corvette fuel sender. It fits in the 80 tank (same tank). The 85 fuel pump will fit on this sender.

Thanks. Just seems like you're driving around in a bomb with the elctrical connections down in the fuel.
