4L60E would be a good match for your car, but it is a fully electronic transmission. For it to function properly, you would also have to install the computer module and necessary engine/vehicle sensors for the system. Your best alternatives are the 200R4 or the 700R trannies. You would need to buy a lockup control module for either of those (assuming that you want to utilize the lockup function safely), but that's it. A 200R is a fairly straightforward fit with only minor adjustments being necessary. The 700R requires a different length driveshaft and some mounting modification. Either would do fine with a stock 75 engine match. If you have significantly modified the engine performance, you may need to upgrade the torque converter and/or some hard parts for better durability.
