Default How to adjust sway bar???

What is the correct way to adjust front and rear sway bars? I have poly bushings on both. How tight do I cinch them down? With or without weight on suspension? Here is a pic where you can see my linkage type on the rear:

Well, with rubber bushings, you want to tighten the nuts down to the point the rubber swells to about the same size as the washers that hold them. With poly bushings, I don't know how that works; but I suspect that you should apply a prescribed amount of torque to those nuts. And, as far as I know, the "sway bars" aren't really adjustable. They are 'sized' by the diameter and type of material in the bar. That determines their "flex" characteristics. The mounts at the ends shouldn't be altered once they are installed. The rubber bushings provide a bit of 'give' to keep the action smooth and limit any unwanted noises when the bars work. Poly...not so much.

Default Adjusting bars

Try Performance Tire Wholesale in the Smyrna area. They have wheel scales and set up your car.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I don't want prematurely wear out the polys because I over tighened. Anyone have experience with the polys?
