seat latch
the little weight/latch in my 1981's seat (the one that keeps it from folding under hard decelearation) got stuck then came out in little bits. I don't see it on e-bay or the mail order places I usually buy from.
Is this item sold by itself or do you have to buy a whole seat frame? Would it be safe if only one side was latching?

this part does not exist outside of replacing the while hinge. It's design is to keep large objects in the back from pancaking you during a sudden deceleration (i.e. hitting something).
Since the only things ever in the back are cleaning supplies, and one side of the latch still works, I'm leaving this one as is.
