Default Keyless Entry, Alarms

I am going to get an alarm with keyless entry and starter kill, should I remove the stock alarm?
If so where is the alarm located in a 81?

I think that all you need to do is pull the fuse...

Youshould be able to use most of the pins *T-Top, door, hood)for your new alarm...

Ben, I've done some alarm work; but, for security reasons I don't post in the forum the factory alarm locations to protect those who have theirs working (I wonder if any really are), and those who locate their new units in the same place. If you email me I would be happy to tell you where you can find the modules and relays in my 75...I would guess that the other years have them in the same place.

Pulling a fuse won't bypass the starter cut-off. The cut-off has to be manually cut out of the system and a new unit, or upgraded unit installed in it's place.
