transmission numbers?
I'm trying to verify that I have a numbers matching transmission or the original...... ser# 71-CK 1926. There is also another number that is directly under "TURBO HYDRAMATIC" that is 71K-233.... Any ideas as to what these numbers stand for? Thanks.

In 1971 CK TH400s were behind 350s in Corvettes & Camaros.

Black Book says it could be had behind the base 350 or the LS5 or LS6 454

Hi df,
I believe the '71' is the year, 'K' is the model usage (350 Corvette), and '233' is the Julian date for the assembly date (233rd day of 71).
Regards,
Alan
