Default Need steering help

Need help with my steering . Just took out my 71 big block with power steering , drove it on the highway first time this year , the car was all over the road wandering from left to right . This car was restored about three years ago , I have new everything including the steering valve , steering box rebuilt and blue printed by GTR1999 and its tight as can be , new GM steeing coupler and rag joint , installed a heavy duty idler arm tierod ends are new had an alignment and she drives like crap . Its to the point it is dangerous to drive over 65 mph . Am I missing something any help would be appreciated thanks in advance .

Thanks
javier

WOW! Everything in the front sounds like it's new. How's the rear? Are the trailing arm bushings OK.

Yes Sir; I had one bad shock which created the same problem. Please let us know what you find. Have a great one. Gene

New doesn't always equal good. I have had a strut rod bushing from a reputable supplier fail after 300 miles. You need to inspect your suspension and steering until you find the culprit.

Good luck!

Yes Sir; My shocks were brand new also, as well as the complete suspension, front & rear. They were the last thing I bought, I did buy 36.00 ea, set. Bought Blisten this time. Not saying yours are bad, just might be worth checking. Have a great day. Gene

I would suspect a bad idler arm or loose idler arm bolts. But, there are many possibilities in the steering system that could cause those symptoms.

Check the balance on the steering valve.
