My right side window is imposible to close all the way up. I have a one inch plus cap between the top of the window and the weatherstriping for the convertible roof.
I am able to grab the window and pull it up to the correct position, but then the window motor is not able to drive the window down again since the window motor is not engaged with the theet in the window mechanism.
The problem seems to be that the mechanism does not have enough theet to drive the window all the way up. By the look of the part I have the corrrect mechanism for electric window. But the car has been converted from manual to electric windows a long time ago. Please help, otherwise it will be impossible to pick up girls with this car in rainy Norway this summer.
When the window is as high as it will go with the motor, I can hear the motor running and that the the motor is no longer getting any grip on any more of the theet, since it is at the end of the part. I can theN pull the window up by hand, and the motor is then not able to get in touch with the theet.
