New headlight relays, now problem???
Hi all
I just replaced my relays on my 74. Now when I turn her on the lights pop up. I didn't have that problem before. The vac lines are hooked up properly. the actuators have been rebuilt and the headlight switch is 1 year old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How Your Headlight Vacuum System Works
If both headlights pop up when you start your motor, I think it's most likely the "top hats" of your new relays are not getting vacuum.
First check that your bypass valve under the steering column is UP as mentioned by dar322. If it is up and you still have the problem, then triple check all your hose connections between your "top hats" or your relays and your check valve.
