Just received the serpentine kit from ConceptOne. I opted for AC delete for now and can add later if I choose.
Kit is very nice and went together fairly easy. VERY VERY good instructions and illustrations. Excellent customer service as well and everything was packaged very nicely. Everything fit perfectly-no modifications at all. This is the only billet kit I found that has the option to add AC later on. I opted for the black anodized finish. It comes with an Edelbrock hi flow alumunum water pump and I opted for the 140 amp alternator because I have dual electric fans.

That's a forward mounted system, did you notch the cross-member?
Were will the tension pulley go once the A/C is added.
The issue I ran into with most of the forward mounted systems was the tension pulley on the systems with A/C was below the compressor and would hit the upper A-arm cross shaft.
I was installing on a BBC which is already a little wider.

I did not have to notch the crossmember-there was suprisingly plenty of room-I beleive it's a 5" pulley.
Good point on the AC tensioner. C1's thing is the designed the kit to be in the confines of the front of the motor on this Victory kit. I looked at the AC set up-it looks like it will fit to me, here's a link to the kit-what do you think? http://c1pulleys.com/smallblockchevyvictoryseries.html
That is one neat set up and looks awesome. I would love a kit like that for Christmas. My only tip not related is about your coil. occasionally when they are mounted on their side like i see in your picture they go bang. I have never actually seen one do it but have heard stories about it and on the msd box it says not to do it as the oil that keeps them cool is meant to sit on the bottom .
So, what does this setup do that the v-belts didn't do?
Is it an extremely high revving engine?
well you only need to carry 1 spare belt instead of 2 or 3 ,no more throwing alt belts off at 7000 shifts, another thing i can think of is you don't have to take off a front belt to get to a rear belt plus it looks super cool to me.judging by those heads and especially the manifold im guessing only dogs will hear its true rpm through sidepipes.

Thx guys and I appreciate the tip on the ignition coil.
This particular coil however is their "high vibration" model-approved for marine use, racing etc and can be mounted in any position. Here's some info off of Summits web site on the coil:
{For off-road, marine, racing, or other extreme environments, MSD Blaster High Vibration ignition coils are the best choice. Their sturdy metal housing is potted with a premium-grade epoxy to completely encase the coils' primary and secondary windings. This protects the coils from high and low frequency vibrations. Alkyd material is used to form the spark tower because of its high dielectric characteristics. Alkyd will not carbon track when high voltage is passed across its surface. For your convenience, a standard canister-type coil mount can be used, and the coils can be mounted in any position.}
I'm thinking the motor on nitrous will be spinning to around 7500 rpms.
I liked this system because of the single belt set up, the looks, the option to add ac later, the hi flow water pump, the quality alternator, the trick and compact power steering set up and the whole system is very light weight.

I looked at their site and they have some nice stuff,
They have the tension pulley tucked up high under the A/C compressor so it won't be an issue.
I wish I would've seen this setup back when I did mine. I couldn't find a setup with a small enough crank pulley that didn't require cross member mods. While the cross member notch wasn't a big deal it would have been nice to get a system that required no mods.
Thx guys.
I'd never heard of this vendor before either. I had called March and Billet Specialties-they weren't much help technical-wise on saying if the kits would definately fit or not and Billet Spec actually said once I buy it-I can't return it,lol, so you're not sure if it'll fit and I can't return it?? Summits kit was a little cheaper, I looked into Zoops also.
I found this vendor in a thread on another forum.
Thx again guys!
