I'd go with red to match your car...

Posting on the C3 Tech/Performance forum to find out what color calipers you should run? Some people might say that this thread belongs in the General forum, but ehhh, since your already here, I might as well just answer your tech/performance question regarding brake caliper color.

Black, so they don't stand out, ya don't want any brightly colored things behind your wheels that will distract the eye from the nicely polished wheels.

Red, if you are a poser and want people to think you are running Brembo brakes.

Silver, 'cuz they are the cheapest, I think.

If you want to see them, go with silver. If you don't, go with black. I'm not seeing the red/red thing...

I just installed Wilwoods on my car and I used black. The lettering is bright so it stands out OK without looking gaudy. The black rotors will wear off in pad area and leave slots and dimples standing out clearly with coating still in the depressions.

Yes..the install is easy. I'm finishing up an article on it for Auto Enthusiast Magazine with all the details. I used slotted and dimpled rotors. My master is the original one. I used the B-10 pads. The pedal is solid....but it was before also. They have a great feel and there is definitely more stopping power with the improved pads....probably more than my tires can presently handle. You'll be great with the bigger wheels/tires and rotors.

Plus saved a good chunk of weight!

I like the silver because the Wilwood name is not as noticable. I would pay extra for a name delete option. It has nothing to do with what brand caliper it is. I'm just not crazy about how the brand name shows up though the wheels whether it be Wilwood, Baer, Brembo, Force 10, or anybody else. I wish someone would make a modern caliper that would make the car look like it had J-56 brakes on it.
