If I were you I would pass on those. The diameter is 25.4", diameter of 255/60/15 is 27.0", and the 275/60/15s I'm upgrading to have a diameter of 28.0". With that 1.6" height difference between the 265/50 and the 255/60, you'll lose .8" of ground clearance in the back. On our vettes thats a mile. You can get some 255/60/15s for about $60 from tires.com, I think they have free shipping now too. Personally I'd recommend you research and figure out the size first, then find a place to buy it. You might get a new set for less than $250.

By the way, they'll be one centimeter wider than the 255/60s, but due to the smaller diameter and therefore fore-aft contact patch, you may get equal or worse overall tire contact patch area, in other words less or no better traction. 275/60/15s will be wider and longer, and look fatter and bigger. Do you know how P-ratings work? 255/60/15 basically means 255 milimeters wide (I believe sectional width, not tread width - re at the widest point), then 60 is the "aspect ratio" of the sidewall height. So you multiply the width (255) by the aspect ratio (.60), 255 * .6 = 153 millimeters high. Convert millimeters to inches (153 / 25.4 = 6.0"). Multiply that by 2 since you have two sidewalls in an overall tire height (6 * 2 = 12) and add that to your rim height - which is the last number in the p rating. 12 + 15 = 27" diameter.

later

Rob

$125 for 295's is a great deal! On the rear - you would have to relocate or eliminate the emergency brake bracket to fit those tires!!
