17" tire question

What size tires are you running with 17" wheels?

I got 255/50s on mine.

71roadster has 255/45s on his which are a little smaller. His sidewalls are perfectly flat, mine bulge just a little.

255/50-17 are the same diameter as stock tires, so your speedo will be correct and the wheel well will be filled.

255/45 or 245/45 will be about 1" smaller in diameter. The wheel well will look empty unless you lower the car.

255.50.17 on 8"rims........as markus said,that is the same overall height and no clearance issues at all........john :chevy :cheers:

8". They're wheel vintiques 17" ralleys. I love them except the weight. Someday I'll get the WV billet ralleys.

255/50/17 on 9.5 inch rims in front,...'92 vette wheels with adaptor...

275/50/17 in same rims in rear....moved Ebrake bracket to behind rotor where it belong to start with....

Firehawk SZ50 P255/45ZR17 front }17x9.5
" " P285/40ZR17 rear }17x9.5
Front end is lowered via F41 coils from VB. Dropped it at least 1.5 or more inches. :cool:
