Another outside door handle question....
Just noticed that my door handle on the driver's side doesn't work...then I noticed an empty hole where a screw or bolt should be... What goes in this hole? I'll be taking off the door panel this week, but I'd appreciate some insight prior to doing it.

Most C3's came with plastic 'anti-theft' shields over the lock plates. That hole, and the other one mentioned above, hold the shield in place. You can tell which cars have them by which ones have the screws in place. 
There is no reason to replace that shield...no one remembers that an 'old' C3 can have the door lock opening pretty easily if one is not there...
