82 electric fan
The aux electric fan in my 82 is not working. It's wired to the A/C system so I believe it should go on with the A/C system but its not. I checked the connections and the fan spins freely. This leaves the motor or the switch on the A/C line. Before I go ripping into this I'm hoping someone has some experience here. Thanks in advance.

I was guessing it came on with the A/C after following the wires. I am not getting that hot, stays at about 190 to 195. So I guess it is also tied into the temp sensor ? Why is it hooked into the A/C line?

i think it should only come on when the temp gets to hot.you can get a lower temp sending unit.you can test the fan by grounding the wire that goes to the back of the passengers side engine head.
