That block I linked is aluminum. 160# Block. 4.50 bore, 4.25 stroke. (same stroke as 489) Combo is 540 CI, over 700 HP Pump gas, plenty of bottom end, 7000 RPM redline and total weight is about the same as an aluminum head small block. It will bolt right in but will run about $13,000 to build. Better have some left in the wallet for powertrain upgades as you start breaking things.
