OK so this how far I've gotten. Mind you I have not had one day off from work in two weeks now. Incl. today's holiday. Time and a half pay to good to pass up this time of year. Roco71 wanted some pics of the progress:
Very Dirty will clean up!
Sand blasted and painted with bar b que paint.
I got home early tonight (8pm) so I was able to do some more work: I have two problems!!! I am unable to get one header bolt in on the passenger side rear inside tube. I tried cutting a bolt short to get it in but no go. Second I can't seem to be able to fit the last spark plug in!! Also passenger side rear one. Any idea's would be appreciated.
You have to start the bolt first, before any of the other ones. It's a bit of a juggling act but works. The spark plug has to be installed from underneath the car same as the drivers side. I've been able to install the passenger side from up top but it's far more difficult.

I did this (from under the car) But it seems that the tip of the plug hits the header pipe, so I can't get it to go in straight. Thanks....
Hmm, well you might have to find a shorter plug. I would take the plug number that you have and cross it to the shorter series. It sounds like the header manufacturer must have bent the tube more sharply than others do.

My bad, I finally got it in after about an hour. Seems that the starter threads in the block were stripped/crossed. Every plug I was putting in just kept spinning and not grabbing. I finally went VERY SLOWLY till i felt it grab, then put a wrench on it and slightly turned it bit by bit untill at least three threads in, then she went in smooth. Now i just have that bolt. Don't feel like taking the A/C bracket off again just te redo it all. I also need to find a place to hook my pipes to the headers. Thanks!!!!

I know, I know, it's a pain in butt to undo it all and start from the beginning, but what is the alternative? Also, what's up with posting a link to a video that we can't watch?
I went down to Advance auto and bought a set of plug wires for a small block Camaro, they are routed over the valve covers from the factory, because of the type of exhaust manifold that is used, worked out nice.
Hey Dave. This is what tracdogg2 suggested for my stock routing. You may need something with different plug ends to keep the wires as far from the headers as poss. It is not uncommon to run different ends on each plug to get max. clearance from the heat of the headers. Good luck with it. mike...

The angle boot works well with the headers. I have no problem now with the wires running on the bottom. But I do need to change them out. They look bad.
