Not the original connector, but the orange is for the lighter and originally by itself.

Pete,On the right is the seat belt buzzer and I'm fairly sure the box on the left is the seat belt interlock relay.

Alex,did you unplug the interlock,I'm hoping you find a bubba jumper in that connector tying the gauges to the NSS circuit ? ( Its possible the bubba jumper is out in the engine compartment at the override switch.)

What I'm looking for now is the PINK wire being involved ,it should not be involved.
You've stated when you touch the orange to 1 of the purples the gauges work-that should not be and we need to find out why.
I'm hoping we'll find something simple like the PINK jumped at the override relay or in the console at the seat belt interlock relay that is mounted just under the radio,with wire colors - purple,green,PINK and green/black.

The Green/black or the Purple/white ?
