The cam is going to make a big gain. There is not enough info. like which heads, intake, Holley & exhaust like headers. So about 300HP+ w/ the orig. info. posted.

New Carburetor studs. Those will make the biggest difference of them all. Except maybe that 327 oil pump.

Hi CS71,
Since you're a new member, WELCOME!!!
As you see it's pretty fruitless to try to guess h.p gain from just a list of parts.
I'd enjoy seeing some picures of your 71 since I'm a 71 fan!
Regards,
Alan

What cam and heads. Most of the stuff you talked about will gain no horse power at all. What is a 327 oil pump anyways. Makes no sense at all.

You didn't mention that you were changing the heads. And, if you don't, there's no reason to do all that other "stuff" you listed above. Putting a high-lift cam in an engine...without changing the heads...is like putting a high volume water pump into a system without increasing the size of the line out of the pump!! It makes no sense to do such a thing.

Heads and [compatible] cam change will make the biggest HP change to your engine. Then you need to open up the exhaust with duals, and headers, if you have the funds. You can gain a bit more with an intake manifold; but changing the carb will make no HP improvement. The rest of the stuff you list is "nice to have", but won't really impact engine power unless your present ignition system is faulty.

You have to watch out for the stock guys who may make up anything which basically says "leave it stock" as you may have noticed.
